Freeze-out:
You are eliminated from the tournament when you lose all your chips.
Players cannot rebuy.
Rebuy:
You can buy more chips only when you have lost all your chips by going
all in.
In a rebuy tournament the amount of rebuys allowed will be clearly stated
and strictly adhered to.
The rebuy period will only last for the stated time this will also be
strictly adhered too.
Add-ons:
In tournaments where add-ons are allowed, the tournament director
will notify all players when the add-on period starts and finishes.
No add-ons will be allowed once play has resumed after add-on break.
Chip race:
When it comes replacing the lower value chips with higher denominations,
each player is given 1 card for every chip. Only one chip per person,
i.e, a person who gets 2 aces will only receive 1 chip. When tables
are rebalanced it is possible that only one person at the table is holding
the lower value chips, in this case his chips are rounded up. A player
cannot be raced out of a tournament, if the lose the chip race they
are automatically rounded up to the lowest value chip in play.
Odd chips:
In cases where a split pot occurs and an odd chip remains, this chip
is awarded to the player left of the dealer(from position 1).
Chips showing:
All chips must be visible at all times with highest value chips
placed at the front of a players stack.
Players may not have chips concealed on their person at any time, a
player found to be concealing chips will have them confiscated and these
chips will be removed from tournament play.
String bets:
A dealer may declare a string bet
Splashing the pot:
Deliberately splashing the pot will not be tolerated, players must place
their bets directly in front of them until all action in that round
of betting is finished and then they are place in the centre pot.
Deck changes:
Only a tournament director has the authority to change a deck.
Late players:
Players who have committed/paid to play in a tournament and are not
present when play starts, will be assigned a table and seat in the usual
manner. Late players will be dealt a hand in the usual manner and then
mucked by dealer their blinds will be posted.
Protecting a hand:
It is the players responsibility to protect their own hand, any hand
mucked by a dealer is dead.
Players who have their hands mucked by dealers are not entitled to have
their bets returned.
Disclosing a hand:
Players verbally disclosing the contents of their hands or advising
other players while a game is in play will be warned, players who then
continue to offend will be penalised.
Penalising players:
Tournament director may penalise players for certain offences, players
may be removed from their tables for set durations. Removal from a table
has a minimum of 5 mins and a maximum of 30 mins.
Players may also be disqualified from a tournament in sever case, players
who are disqualified will not have their enterence fee returned.
