Article 2 Texas Hold'em Hand Ranking
This article is only intended to outline the easiest way to play Texas
Hold'em.

ROYAL FLUSH
This is the highest hand, you will rarely see one, once in blue
moon.
It's similar to getting a tax rebate. It is made of up all of
the same suite, ten through Ace.
Comes in four flavours Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, Clubs

STRAIGHT FLUSH
While not as powerful as the royal flush, the straight flush still
rare. Straight Flush is made up of 5 cards in succession as above
of the same suit, but the Ace is not included.

POKER
Poker or four of a kind is when you have four of the same value
cards,
four eights, four kings, four aces, etc,etc
|
|
FULL HOUSE
Full house is when you have three/trips and a pair.
three eights and pair of three's
Any trips and any Pair
|
|
FLUSH
Flush is when you have 5 of any suit
5 Clubs
5 Hearts
5 Spades
5 Diamonds

STRAIGHT
Straight is when you have 5 cards of different suits in succession.
Ace, Two, Three, Four, Five
Two, Three, Four, Five, Six
Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven
etc, etc, etc, etc
Nine, Ten, Jack, Queen, King
Ten, Jack, Queen, King, Ace

THREE OF A KIND
Three of a kind is when you have 3 of same value cards
3/trips Aces
3/trips Nines
3/trips Kings

TWO PAIR
Two pair is when you have 2 same value cards twice
Pair Nines and Pair Jacks
Pair Aces and Pair Kings
Pair Fours and Pair Jacks
etc, etc, etc, etc

PAIR
Pair is when you have 2 same value cards.
Pair Jacks
Pair Aces
Pair Kings
etc, etc, etc, etc

HIGH CARD
High card hand In the example above, the high card is ACE. So
you would have "Ace High".
You would win if someone had "King High" or "Queen
High" etc, etc
